Team 'tries' to raise PH awareness - AUSTRALIA
A Redland Bay couple who lost their six-year-old son to Pulmonary Hypertension (PH) five months ago are "over the moon" they helped raise awareness of the deadly disease while participating in the Gatorade Tri-Series at Raby Bay.
PH is a rare, life threatening lung disease where the sufferer's blood pressure in the arteries of their lungs elevates, putting stress on their heart and reducing the amount of oxygen that is able to reach the tissues of the body.
